One year ago, during one of our routine training runs, Mary Joshi said why not let us just rune from Thrissur to Palakkad ....I took it as a joke as I had no previous experience of running this long distance. The longest ever i ran was 42Km few times and few Ultra hill runs. As my birthday got nearer she reminded me again and inspired me to give it a serious try.  Well that was the beginning of a running event that happened on 27th July 2025 , just 3 days after by birthday. Thanks to support from Endurance Athletes Thrissur, Fort Runners Palakkad, district authorities, Kerala Police and Jt.RTO & Mathrubhoomi Sr.GM Mr.Bhasi, who honored the closing ceremony with his presence, the run was a huge success. More than 30 elite runners from Kerala participated and we completed the event with zero injury. Eveready Ultima and Cosmopolitan Club Palakkad were kind enough to sponsor our run. The souvenirs ( coffee cups with run map and picture of runner printed ) will be etched in our memo...

 Team : Murali, Herve and me.  We arrived at Katmandu airport from Bahrain and moved to Pokhara for stay. Started trek next day and got back on 10th day. Unlike my previous Himalayan treks, this blog is only picture partly due to long time of idling post trek  and partly due to the picture are so stunning that these speak for themselves !!  Day 1 Pokhara to Ulleri Day 2 Ulleri to Gorepani Day 3 : Gorepani to Poonhill and to Tadepani We started 3AM from tea house to reach Poonhill top to watch sunrise. It was amazing sight to see many reputed peaks bathed in golden glow of rising sun. Day 4 Tadepani to Chomrong Day 5 Chomrong to Doban Day 6 Dovan to MBC Day 7 MBC to ABC and to Dovan Day 8 Dovan to Chomrong Day 9 Chomrong to Pokhara Day 10 Pokhara and back to Kathmandu Click this for more photos
